Manny Neves – Host of The Construction Life Podcast

Manny Neves began his career behind the camera, studying filmmaking and spending 15 years in the film and television industry where he directed over 50 commercials. But it was his honest curiosity and passion for craftsmanship that drew him into the world of construction.

Eager to learn, Manny immersed himself in the trades—asking questions, traveling to job sites and trade shows, and building meaningful connections. When TV producers came calling to develop a construction show based on his ideas, Manny quickly realized that their version of “construction” didn’t reflect the real industry he had come to respect.

Instead, Manny went independent. He turned to social media to share authentic stories from the job site, eventually launching The Construction Life podcast in 2017. Now with over 770 episodes and a global audience, the show has become the most trusted voice in Canadian construction media. Manny has interviewed everyone from solo tradespeople and small business owners to executives, union leaders, and safety professionals—continuing his mission to spotlight every voice in the industry.

With a renewed passion for merging storytelling and trades, Manny is now developing a slate of creative projects that bridge construction and filmmaking. Keep an eye on 2026 for what’s coming next.
